This Indenture made this 24th day of September . . . one thousand seven hundred and ninety two between Mark Jackson executor of the last will and Testament of John Warren decd. of the one part and Baxton Wray of the other part Witnesseth that whreas the said John Warren in his said last will and Testament did Devise all his land lying in the county of Brunswick to be sold reference being thereunto had will mor fully and at large appear Now this Indenture witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Forty pounds . . . paid by the said Baxton Wray . . . by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Baxton Wray . . . a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Brunswick aforesaid Containing by estimation seventy acres, It being part of the Land mentioned in the said Will, and bounded as followeth (Vizt) BEGINNING at a willow oak on the long branch thence up the meanders of the said Branch to a corner ash thence off to Paul Hartwells Corner thence by his line a new line of Marked trees to the beginning . . . and the said Mark Jackson for himself and his heirs and the heirs of the said John Warren decd. the aforesaid tract of land and premises unto the said Braxton Wray . . . free and clear from the claim of him the said Mark Jackson exeuctor as aforesaid and from the claim and demand of all and every other person or person . . . shall and will warrant and forever defend . . . signed by Mark Jackson.
