RAY and wife Orator would show that S.H. TURNBO departed this live in Wayne County about the March 15, 1874, after having made and published his last will and testament. Leaving surviving him MARTHA his widow, who died intestate in said County on November 6, 1876, and the following children to wit: MARY JANE, who intermarried with JAMES RAY; AMBROS TURNBO; RACHEL ANN TURNBO; NANCY, who intermarried with GEORGE MATHEWS; JOHN TURNBO; WILLIAM TURNBO; SALLIE TURNBO; JULIA TURNBO; MARTHA TURNBO; ELIZA (LIZZIE) TURNBO; Orator would state that he entered upon his duties oas executor after the will had been duly admitted to probate. And after the death of MARTHA, he was appointed administrator on her estate by the County Court. Bond. WILLIAM TURNBO, J.H. NEWBORN aPRIL 26, 1878. Ordered by Court that WILLIAM TURNBO, executor, in conjunction with the Clerk and Master proceed to sell said real aand personal estate. WILLIAM TURNBO became the purchaser. The lands sold described as follows. One tract situated in Wayne County, Dist. 1 on waters of Beech Creek in Range 11, beginning south east corner of a survey in the name of JOHN Y. ROPER--to M. ROBERSON’s east boundary line. Also one other tract beginning west of n.w. corner of ROBERT CARY’s entry. One other tract s.s. corner of ISAAC ROBERSON -- to west boundary of JESSE SATTERFIELD’s entry -- to J.A. STEEL s s.w. corner. Ten shares to the amount of $70 per 1 share.
