Guardian bond. At the court house in Water Valley. Minor heirs of J.C. Ray, dec'd. State of Mississippi, Yalobusha County, that we L.B. Ray, principal and R.B. Pate and J.B. Pate, securities, bounden Mrs. L.B. Ray as guardian of John C. Ray. Signed W.D.L. Stephens, clerk June 20,1888, I John W. Brown, Chancery Clerk of Yalobusha County, certify that Mrs. L.B. Ray has been appointed guardian of John C. Ray, minor and son of said guardian. J.G. Hall, Chancellor 3rd Chancery district Mississippi, successor of the honorable B.T. Kimbrough Report of Clerk. Wayne County. That from proof on file in this cause he finds that W.J. and W.B. Wood, purchasers of the land sold in the cause were the owners of three fourths interest in the same at the time of said sale having prior to that time purchased the interest of Cary RAY, T.S. RAY and REBECCA LUTTS and the minor defendant is the owner of the remaining one fourth interest.
