Elizabeth HINTON - 6 (About 1838 - ) Elizabeth Ray Hinton is the sister of my great great great grandfather Hix Jones Ray and is named in the estate settlement of her father, Nathaniel Ray Jr.. I don't know how the other Hinton families of Wayne Co, Tennessee were related to Elizabeth's husband, David "Hardy" Hinton. I only mention this because some of the Ray family were located in Wayne Co, TN. According to Mrs. ATHA, the following members of the HINTON family are supposed to be buried at Powell Cemetery. They are buried on the west side of the cemetery with only black rocks for markers.
