| When Makenzie Scheele arrived, she had
a nice stack of quilts waiting at home from both Grandma Pat and mommy.
I could say that I taught Holly everything that I know about quilting but
that would give me too much credit because she has been working hard to make
quilts as well. While she and Kenny were home on leave during the
summer of 2004, Holly had some free time and we spent that time sewing.
Later, when we visited them at Minot AFB, ND, I bought Holly an inexpensive
machine to continue her quilting. This quilt is one of my favorites because
I added hand puppets to the quilt to give it depth. I created something similiar for a coworker's baby.
