Born 21 May 1889 in E. St. Louis, St. Clair County, IL to Emma Cassell Campbell and George Scott Campbell Sr. "Scott" Campbell was married once and divorced. He married Edna Grunwald of Granite City, Madison County, IL. Edna's mother was Minnie Grunwald and in the 1920 census, two widow ladies - Minnie Grunwald and Minnie Pufalt shared a house on Edwards Street in Granite City, IL. Mrs. Pufalt's son, Charles (Carl) would go on to marry, "Scott's" sister Estelle Campbell.
Edna Grunwald was born 11 Feb 1903 in Missouri and she died in April 1985.

Scott Campbell, 700 Main Street, Venice, Entered into rest at 9:30 p.m. Sunday June 24, 1951 at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital, St. Louis. Dear father of Mrs. Frank (Gladys) Markovich; dear son of Mrs. Emma Campbell; dear brother of Mrs. Pete (Frances) Eftimoff; and dear grandfather, father in law, brother in law of Mrs. Ada Campbell and cousin of Malcom and Mildred Cassell. His remains will lie in state at Sedlack Funeral Home, 2801 Madison Avenue, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
