She said that she thought that perhaps I would think that Horton was too little to play with but I would like very much to play with him. I had just finished a wheel barrow that I had made for him to play with when he comes on and I expect to make a wagon for him in a day or so. You need not be afraid that I will think he is at all too small. I play with a little boy who lives next to us who is about half a year younger than Horton and is just learning to talk and he is very fond of calling me to play with him. This year Aunt Elizabeth gave me a little place in the garden wehre I planted some flowers and I expect that some fo them will be open when you come on. I have been trying very hard to learn the Elegy and I know nearly all of the verses but I can't say them in the right order. Your affectionate nephew Peter E Force Translation notes: Peter Evans Force (1868-1930) is the author of this document. Cousin Innie is the daughter of William Q Force and his wife Elizabeth. Horton is Manning Force's son.
